Eurasia Research English Program (EREP)

About EREP:

In order to integrate interdisciplinary teaching resources and diversify language-learning opportunity, the Faculty of Social Sciences offers Eurasia Research English Program (EREP) for graduate students to achieve their objectives of research. EREP is fully lectured in English, and offers a comprehensive understanding to regional integration between Europe and Asia, and diversified issues on global governance. Students in EREP are able to select suitable courses offered by the Graduate Institutes of European Studies, Asia-Pacific Studies and Public Policy.

The EREP faculty is affiliated with the graduate institutes of the Faculty of Social Sciences. The specializations of the EREP faculty contain political science, economics, international relations, and policy analysis. EREP now provides a breadth and depth of expertise focused around three areas of elective courses: European integration, Asian integration and global governance. This track structure provides students with ample opportunity to meet their expertise needs.

When successively achieving 21 credit hours, students are awarded an EREP certificate. We believe that EREP, with the aim of broadening students’ international horizon on regional and global issues, is a significant program in the process of conducting research. For more information, you are strongly encouraged to contact us at scho@ncccail.nhu.edu.tw and +886-5-2721001 ext 2361.

Eligible Applicants:

Applicants for EREP must hold a recognized status as a graduate student of Nanhua University. The committee of EREP preserves the right of verifying applicant’s qualifications.

Curriculum:

EREP students are required to complete 21 credit hours of elective course work in which 3 credits are allowed to waive. Students are allowed to take at most 9 credits on each of the three areas of elective courses, and at most 9 credits at each of the graduate institutes. EREP allows full-time graduate students a maximum of 15 credits and part-time graduate students a maximum of 12 credits per semester.
