 教學目標

布爾迪厄是20世紀最重要的社會學家，更是影響深遠的教育社會學者。布爾迪厄曾經說自己研究的領域即國家社會學、文化社會學與教育社會學，足見教育社會學對其理論建構上的重要性。像社會資本與文化資本等影響現在教育社會學研究的重要概念，都是其教育社會學研究發展出來的理論概念，而其經典作品《教育、社會與文化中的再製》自1977年英譯本出版後，即迅速成為SSCI的引用經典（citation classic）。而所謂再製（reproduction）也成為教育社會學，乃至社會學研究的重要主題。由此可知布爾迪厄教育社會學研究的重要性及其影響。

布爾迪厄著作等身，但本研讀會將集中探討其教育社會學研究的重要，其中主要有早期的《學院論述》（Academic Discourse），《繼承人》（The Inheritors），以及最重要的《教育、社會與文化中的再製》（Reproduction in Education , Society and Culture），還有後來的《學院人》（Homo Academicus ）及《國家菁英》（The State Nobility）。本課程將以這些作品為主，並輔以布爾迪厄其他與教育社會學研究之相關論文，深入研讀，希望能對其教育社會學研究有一深入且全面的掌握。
